Prediabetes Risk Test Tool
What is Prediabetes?
If you have blood sugar levels that are above normal but are not yet in the diabetes range, then you are termed prediabetic. The American Diabetes Association classifies anyone with fasting blood sugar between 100-126 mg/DL or the equivalent of HbA1c between 5.7-6.4% as having prediabetes. When your fasting blood sugar goes past 126 mg/DL or HbA1c moves above 6.5%, you are said to have diabetes.
If you are prediabetic, you can make changes to your lifestyle and either prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes from affecting you. Here is a first step to find out if you are at risk for prediabetes.
